Forestville tops Gowanda, 56-36

GOWANDA — The Forestville Hornets boys basketball team took care of business on Wednesday, beating Gowanda, 56-36 in a non-league matchup.
Forestville used a 23-point second quarter to propel them past the Panthers. Gavin Christian had 17 points to lead the Hornets while Orlando Soto pitched in nine points and 10 rebounds. Javier West added 10 points and four steals.
Gowanda was led by 12 points from Justin Kohn and eight points from Tanner Olsen.
Gowanda will host North Collins on Monday, while Forestville will play at Silver Creek on Tuesday.
