The Northwest Wave varsity girls indoor soccer team, featuring Westfield/Brocton goalkeeper Angel Busch, participated in the inaugural Midlakes Tournament and emerged as the undefeated champions. The Wave defeated the Stormers 4-0, Penn Yan 6-0, and Addison One 4-0 to earn the first seed going into the playoffs. The Wave defeated Addison Two, 1-0 in the semifinals before besting Bath, 2-1 in the finals.
