Pictured are Indoor Track athletes Emily Brown (left), Diego Rey (middle), and coach Laurie Brifu, of Fredonia, as they get set to take off to the state meet in Staten Island on Saturday. Brown won the 1500 meter race while Rey finished second in the 1000 during last week’s qualifier. Also pictured, Indoor Track athlete Collin Barmore will be representing Cassadaga Valley/Falconer at the state meet. Barmore took second place in the 3200 with a time of 9:54.54 in the qualifier last week. Also heading to states is Dunkirk’s Jericha Petrella in the 600.
