The Dunkirk Lady Marauders held their end of the season banquet on Sunday night at Dom Polski’s in Dunkirk, and were treated to a special guest speaker. Mckenna Maycock, the all-time leading scorer in Western New York, spoke to the Lady Marauders and their families and friends of the basketball program in attendance. Maycock, a senior at St. Bonaventure, played for Dunkirk coach Ken Ricker in AAU basketball while in high school at Randolph. She shared stories from her time playing with him and offered advice to the team. Dunkirk also handed out its awards for the season, capped off by the “Marauder Pride Award” given to Dunkirk junior Amari Carter.
