RANDOLPH — Fredonia’s Emily Brown took first place in both the 2,000m steeplechase and the 400m hurdles on Friday night at the Golden Falcon Invitational at Randolph High School.

Brow’s steeplechase time of 7:12.80 not only qualifies her for the sectional final meet, but it also meets the State qualifying requirement. Brown’s 400m hurdles time of 1:07.60 also qualifies her for the sectional final meet.

In addition to Brown’s accomplishments, Fredonia’s Anna Buchanan took third in the triple jump with a personal best of 32-feet-3-inches.
