Annual Heritage Golf Challenge set for Aug. 23

Special to The OBSERVER

Heritage Ministries will host the 18th annual Heritage Golf Challenge, presented by U & S Services Inc. a Stark Tech Group Company, on Friday, Aug. 23, at the Chautauqua Golf Club in Chautauqua.

Melissa Trusler, Heritage Director of Development stated, “Heritage serves seniors in Chautauqua County with compassion through each stage within the continuum of care. As a not-for-profit, we support seniors based on their individual needs, rather than their ability to pay, and are committed to assisting those who have exhausted their personal funding.”

“We are thrilled to host this year’s golf outing at the Chautauqua Golf Club,” she continued. “Each year, we are growing and continuing to exceed our fundraising goals. In 2018, our generous sponsors allow us to expand, raising over $40,000 which aids in care for our residents and ensures we continue to live our mission: to serve through Christ-centered ministries which promote hope, dignity, and purposeful living.”

The event will feature a 10 a.m. shotgun start at Chautauqua Golf Club, with lunch at the turn, proximity prizes, a putting challenge, and overall placement prizes. Each registration also includes refreshments and dining during the post play celebration, along with auctions and raffles. The cost per golfer is $125 per player.
