The 10th annual Mongy Memorial Wiffleball Tournament was held on July 13. This year, proceeds went towards scholarships to Dunkirk and Fredonia High School graduating seniors. Recipients were Anthony Ruiz and Hannah Ellman from Dunkirk and Michael Persch and Maggie Mignoli from Fredonia. Tournament champions for the fourth year in a row were the X-Blades. Most Valuable Player was Bryant Watts. All Tournament First Team was Evan Ahlstrom, Vinny Bomasuto, Adam Kubasik and Nick Ahlstrom. All Tournament Second Team was Brent Carmello, Dan Tarnowski, Joe Pantano and Dylan Alessi. The tournament offers thanks to all of the generous sponsors that help make the yearly event a success.
