North Collins earns sweep of Gowanda

GOWANDA — The North Collins Lady Eagles swept the Gowanda Lady Panthers in three highly competitive sets on Tuesday night, 25-22, 25-20, 25-20.

North Collins’ Mckenna Williams had 26 assists and Michaela Rice finished with 11 kills, leading the charge for the Lady Eagles.

The Lady Panthers were paced by Makenzie Carroll on attack, racking up 15 digs and one ace, while Emma Luther had eight assists and eight digs.

North Collins picked up their third win in as many games, getting off to an impressive start on the eason, and will take on Westfield Friday night at 5 p.m., in what will be their blackout game, encouraging everyone in attendance to wear black.

Gowanda, now 2-1, also finds themselves tagged to play Westfield, but they will play on the road tonight at 5 p.m in Westfield.
