Brocton volleyball falls to Panama in three sets at home

BROCTON — The Brocton Lady Bulldogs fell to the Panama Panthers in three sets on Thursday night, 25-7, 25-8, 25-13 in a CCAA South girls volleyball game at Brocton High School.

Panama was led by Kylie Schnars with six kills and a block, while Alexis Finnerty had five kills and Maddie Johnson had one kill, nine assists, three aces, and 18 service points.

Brocton’s Cheyanna Rivera led the way for them, with two kills, two assists, and three blocks, while Tiffinie Santiago added four assists and three digs.

The Panthers finish the season 18-0 heading into the postseason, while Brocton’s season wraps up in Brocton tonight when the Westfield Wolverines come to town for a 5 p.m. start. Westfield defeated Brocton in the first meeting since the two programs split after spending last season combined.
