Steelers hold off Olean on the road, 4-3

OLEAN — This past Sunday, the Dunkirk-Fredonia Steelers varsity hockey team traveled to Olean and took down their rivals on their own ice, 4-3.
The Steelers were led offensively by Dawson Bird with two goals on the night and both Joshua Cooper and Joey Yeager contributed two assists. The Steelers led 4-2 headed into the third period and managed to hold off an Olean comeback attempt to win 4-3.
Olean’s Noah Kellogg led the offense with two goals and an assist.
