The Dunkirk-Fredonia Steelers squirt division hockey team had a successful weekend at the Festival of Lights Tournament at Hyde Park in Niagara Falls. The Steelers defeated the Tri-County Eagles 6-2 in Game 1, then beat Toms River (NJ) 3-1 in Game 2. The Steelers then beat the Hamburg Hawks 5-3 in Game 3 to set up a rematch with Toms River (NJ) in the Championship Game. The Steelers won that game 3-0 to finish off the title chase on top as champions.
