Fredonia hosts inaugural Unified bowling contest at Lucky Lanes vs. Eden

The Fredonia Unified Bowling team had their inaugural match on Friday afternoon, losing to Eden 5.5-3.5.

Eden ended with a pin total of 2,131 while Fredonia had 1,801.

For Fredonia, the team of Luke McKnatt and Amber Meli rolled a 144, Noah Tarbell and Luke Morris shot a 215, Josh Priolette and Anthony Gullo had a 189, Tristan Tarbell and Tim Davis had a 174, Seth Putnam and Dawson Bird had a 181, and Nora Feinen and Carson Cain had a 181. Putnam led the way for Fredonia in strikes with four.

There are 23 teams in Section VI who participate in the Unified Bowling league, and there are 38 that participate in basketball, with Fredonia set to be the 39th coming in May.

Fredonia’s next match is Thursday, Feb. 6 at 3:30 p.m. against West Seneca West at Lucky Lanes.
