Stauffers claim Titleist Scratch Pro-Am with 7-under

PENFIELD — Kirk Stauffer, PGA Life Member, and his brother Keith, both from Bradford, Pennsylvania, won the WNYPGA Titleist Scratch Pro-Am with a 7-under 64 at Penfield Country Club.

Fifty-eight teams competed in the Partners Gross Better-Ball event.

Jim Mrva, retired PGA head professional at Monroe Golf Club, made his ninth career hole-in-one on the 155-yard fifth hole.

Billy Hanes, member at Crag Burn Golf Club, made his first-ever hole-in-one on the 165-yard 16th hole.

Ryan Swanson and Nolan Swanson from Pinehurst Golf Course finished tied for 10th at 3-under.

Dwayne Randall and Marcus Aiello of Bartlett CC were tied for 20th at 1-under.
