Organizers have decided to cancel this year’s Dunkirk High School/Cardinal Mindszenty High School/Fredonia High School Alumni Golf Tournament, which was scheduled to be held at Shorewood Country Club on Sept. 18.

Next year’s tournament is tentatively scheduled for Friday, Aug. 6.

“Having almost 60 out-of-state travelers coming in for our event and with New York state still having a 14-day quarantine ban on out-of-state travelers, it only makes logical sense to error of the side of caution and safety for all the local residents we would be interacting and mingling with when traveling to Dunkirk,” organizers said.
