Pinter, Harris capture Hengerer Memorial at Tri-County CC

FORESTVILLE — Joe Pinter and Mark Harris shot a net best-ball 128 to win the overall title at the 36th annual Carl Hengerer Memorial Golf Tournament held at Tri-County Country Club.

Joel Szymczak and Jake Szymczak finished second with a 129.

Ryan Arnone and Justin Young won the Gross Division with a 145.

George Borrello and Dominick Borrello won the Borrello Flight with a 10 followed by Austin White and James Wiskup (8.67) and Mike McMasters and Patrick Stanchak (6.67).

James Azzarella Jr. and Dan Vona led the Clarke Flight with an 11. Kevin Swanson and Neil Young were second (8) while Mike Almeida and Cody Troutman were third (7).

Derek Austin and Dalton Kashmer’s 11 led the Newman Flight. Dylan Bennett and Jeremiah Bretl were second (8) while Brian Wolf and Scott Yeager were third (7).

The Nappo Flight was led by Bob Miller Jr. and John Miller with a 6. Josh White and Ryan Simmons were second (5) while Jeff Rich and Al Etzel were third (2).

John Vona and Matt Vona led the Houle Flight with a 13. John Donovan and Warren Kelly were second with an 8. Dennis Corsaro and Kaine Kelly were third (6).

The Taaffe Flight was led by Larry Hayden and Dan Cassidy with a 13. Jim Grace and Lee Szymanski were second (7) while Rick Taaffe and Tom Hoak were third (6).

Fred Hemmer and Mike Reeves led the Montondo Flight with an 11. John Ford and Jim White were second (11) while Chris Warning and Bill Hoak were third (5).

Art Buczkowski and David Bray led the Mergenhagen Flight with a 14 followed by Lenny Valone and Bob Edwards (5). Tom Mudra and Dennis Tingue also finished with a 5.

Rob Catalino and Rock Gentner led the Hengerer Flight with an 8. Marcus Waterman and Davin Lay were second (6) while Matt Shaw and Mike Pagano were third (0).
