FREWSBURG — Host Frewsburg/Falconer was a 101-85 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls swimming winner over visiting Southwestern, improving to 5-0 on the year.

Madison Kramer continued her record-breaking season, finishing first in the 100-meter backstroke with a 1:09.62. That broke her own mark of 1:10.49 set last season. She also claimed the 200-meter individual medley in 2:39.86.

“It was a good meet, a great meet,” Frewsburg/Falconer head coach Bruce Johnson. “Both teams swam really well. I think our depth kind of won it for us in the end.”

Morgan Faulk took home the 200-meter freestyle (2:25.91) and the 400-meter freestyle (5:10.01) for the Trojans, while Natalie Fosberg won the 50-meter freestyle (29.20) and the 100-meter freestyle (1:03.84).

Jade Shampoe claimed the 100-yard butterfly in 1:25.15 and the 200-yard individual medley in 2:48.89, in addition to swimming in the winning 200-yard medley and 200-yard freestyle relay teams for the Thunderbirds.

Amelia Brown won the 50-yard freestyle in 28.59 and the 100-yard freestyle in 1:04.71 for the hosts.

Izzi Bailey captured the 200-yard individual medley (2:31.14) and 100-yard butterfly (1:07.19) while Jo Bailey claimed the 50-yard freestyle (26.36) and 100-yard freestyle (1:00.61) for the Panthers.

The hosts swept the top-three spots in the 50-yard freestyle.
