Fearless Freddie’s Football Forecast

SHOWDOWN. The two best teams in the American Football Conference have a showdown Sunday night in Kansas City.

But before the Buffalo Bills take to the chilly field against the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs, there will be a great game in another cold city, Green Bay. The hometown Packers will have the edge in this National Football Conference title game.

Aaron Rodgers will flex his MVP muscles for the Packers to take down Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will be epic.

Then all eyes will turn to the Bills and the Chiefs. Viewership will soar for this one.

After losing badly to the Chiefs in Orchard Park in Week 6, the Bills have improved dramatically. The thinking here is the Bills are peaking at the optimal time, and perhaps more importantly, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes will be at less than full strength.

All Josh Allen needs to do is shepherd his club in the same impressive way he has been for the past two months. The Buffalo defense was magnificent against the favored Baltimore Ravens last weekend and I expect more of the same this time against a much tougher foe.

FREDDIE sees it this way:

Bills 31, CHIEFS 28

HOME teams are capitalized. Teams picked to win the game are listed first, followed by the expected margin of victory. The official Las Vegas odds are in parentheses.
