Fast start carries Randolph past Silver Creek
SILVER CREEK — Randolph jumped out to a quick 18-3 first-quarter lead and beat Silver Creek/Forestville, 53-17, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 East action Friday afternoon.
Kyra Pence led the Cardinals (4-0, 2-0) with 15 points and four assists; Sydney Hvizdzak had 14 points and seven steals; and Alyssa Adams grabbed six rebounds.
Carly Barrett led the Black Knights (1-2, 0-1) with 7 points to go along with 10 rebounds while Jade Bouvier had 6 points and 14 rebounds.
