Fredonia bowlers sweep Jamestown

The Fredonia Hillbillies varsity boys bowling team swept the Jamestown Red Raiders 4-0 to improve their record to 18-2.

Jamestown is now 15-5. Fredonia had games of 992-1089-1,025 for a total of 3,106. Jamestown had games of 891-925-931 for a 2,747 total.

Leading Fredonia was Zack Kawski 226-253-234 for a 703 series. Sam Kawski rolled games of 205-234-200 for a 639 series. Bryson Kolassa added games of 227 and 235 for a 635 series. Rocke Swartz contributed games of 200 and 235 on his way to a 625 series.

Riley Piazza had a 222 game and a 606 series to lead Jamestown, while Colton Cappalino added a 203 game. Brandon Michael rolled a 235.

The Lady Hillbillies also swept their match against Jamestown. Fredonia is 9-7 this season, Jamestown is 4-12.

Gillian Reed led the way for Fredonia with games of 203-167-190 for a 560 series. Erin Schrantz added games of 162 and 164 on her way to a 452 series. Jaelyn Davis chipped in a 155 game and Julianna Glowniak had a 146.

Jamestown was led by Abbie Derby, who had games of 148-125-205 for a 478 series. Addison Cappalino had games of 145-156-138 for a 439 series.
