Jamestown, Dunkirk bowlers split matches

Jamestown (20-5) was a 4-0 winner over Dunkirk (15-9) in CCAA Division 1 boys bowling at Lucky Lane on Wednesday with a linescore of 855-1,047-936-2,838.

Leading the winners was Riley Piazza with a 215-247-628. Kyle Christensen rolled a 206-215-609, Brandon Michael a 206-227-588 and Colton Cappalino a 211-205-569.

Dunkirk hit a 787-992-893-2,652, thanks to Jaxson Pencek’s 279-627 and Robert Kozlowski’s 201-212-594.

Dunkirk (24-0) won the girls match 4-0, with a linescore of 790-832-817-2,439 while the Red Raiders (4-20) managed a 647-668-649-1,964.

Leading the Marauders was Rachel Glowniak with a 198-559. Makayla Pasierb had a 201-492, Olivia Corbett a 481 and Summer Clark a 453.

Jamestown was led by Abbie Derby with a 198-556 and Addison Cappalino with a 460.

BEARS SWEEP

FREWSBURG — Frewsburg (27-1) topped Clymer/Sherman (8-16) 4-0, in boys bowling at Frewsburg Lanes thanks to a linescore of 818-888-743-2,449 at Frewsburg Lanes.

Collin Kehrli had a 160-203-192-555 and Erich Thompson had a 191-216-136-543 to lead the winners.

Hunter Babcock led the visitors with a 159-145-123-427 and Hunter Bogert hit a 158-125-136-419.

Frewsburg (19-9) was a 4-0 winner over Clymer/Sherman (8-16) in the girls matchup with a linescore of 582-633-480-1,695.

Leading the winners was Katelyn Bean with a 144-216-133-493, while Jocelyn Estabrook hit a 151-161-131-443.

Clymer/Sherman tossed a 468-436-425-1,329, with Tabitha Griffin hitting a 135-168-118-421 and Emilie Lyndsey had a 108-104-89-301.
