Kelly rolls 576 as Fredonia sweeps T’Birds
Fredonia topped Chautauqua Lake, 4-0, in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 boys bowling at Lucky Lanes on Wednesday.
Fredonia (14-2) had a line score of 856-823-831-2,510. Leading the team was seventh-grader Ryan Kelly, who had games of 180, 198, and 198 in a 576 series. Also bowling well was Rocke Swartz, who had a 209 high game in his 550 series.
Chautauqua Lake (0-16) had a line score of 448-462-405-1,315. The Thunderbirds’ high bowler was Brady Martin, with a high game of 132.

In girls bowling action Dunkirk (12-0) hit a 887-896-899-2,682 to take a 4-0 Division 1 win over Fredonia (5-7), which hit a 715-668-659-2,042.
For Dunkirk, Rachel Glowniak hit a 179-203-217-599, Makayla Pasierb a 188-178-206-272, Tayler Skelly a 154-203-160-517, Olivia Corbett a 225, Hannah Rosing a 178 and Hayden Cerrie a 174.
Julianna Glowniak led Fredonia with a 147-165-127-439, Gillian Reed had a 158-135-146-439, Savannah Salim a 146 and Emma Patterson a 145-137.
