DUNKIRK — No. 6 Dunkirk/Forestville/Westfield was a 96-68 winner over No. 11 Lake Shore in the prequarterfinals of the Niagara Bracket.

Steven Zentz led the winners with wins in the 200-yard freestyle (2:13.04) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:55.52) while Adam Fred took home the 200-yard individual medley (2:17.84) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:11.55).

The Marauders will meet No. 3 Fredonia/Cassadaga Valley on Friday.

FREWSBURG — No. 4 Frewsburg/Southwestern was a 109-71 winner over No. 13 Jamestown/Falconer on Tuesday in the prequarterfinals of the Erie Bracket in Section VI boys swimming.

The winners were led by Gannon Moore in the 200-meter medley (2:21.56) and the 100-meter backstroke (1:03.94).

Kyle Dean took home the 50-meter freestyle (24.49) and the 100-meter freestyle (55.51)

Frewsburg/Southwestern will host No. 5 Hamburg on Friday.
