Fury was a 17-1 winner over Lancaster Heat.

Madison Blair surrendered one hit over three innings, with stellar relief from Avery Smith (three innings) and Anna Delcamp (one inning). Fury pitchers pitched a walk-free game with 10 strikeouts and Fury didn’t commit a single error in the field in a dominant performance on opening day in Fredonia.

Fury collected 15 hits on the day led by Lucy Gates (three RBIs) and Delcamp (RBI, double) with three each. Callie Draggett, Ava Muck (triple, two RBIs), Naomi Muck (RBI) all added two hits each. Blair (RBI), Joce Miller (double) and Sophia Utegg (two RBIs) each added base hits. Gates led Fury on the basepaths with three stolen bases.

Fury 12U next take on Amherst Thunder in Amherst on Saturday.
