Weather suspends Dunkirk-F/CV girls

SINCLAIRVILLE — Falconer/Cassadaga Valley led Dunkirk 3-0 during Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association West Division play before weather suspended the game during the 20th minute of action.

The game will be resumed at a later date.

CLARK NETS HAT TRICK

FREWSBURG — Tyra Clark netted a hat trick for Frewsburg in an 8-0 Central Division shutout of North Collins.

Raena Bird, Clark and Ava Jimerson scored first-half goals for the Bears (3-2-0, 2-0-0).

After halftime, Clark scored twice while Ashlyn Samuelson, Nora Edwards and Gracie Conlan also scored.

Jimerson and Alexandra Hultberg each had two assists while single assists went to Samuelson, Edwards, Conlan and Kendal Sohl.

Cadence Rodgers made two saves in the shutout.

The Eagles fell to 4-1-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the league.

WHEELER LEADS CARDINALS

SOUTH DAYTON — Caliana Wheeler scored twice for Randolph in a 5-1 East Division victory over Pine Valley/Gowanda.

Aubrey Hogan and Wheeler each scored a goal from Kyra Pence in a 2-1 first half.

After halftime, Wheeler tallied from Hogan before Samantha English and Pence added goals for the Cardinals (2-3-1, 2-0-0).

Kendell O’Neill made three saves for Randolph.

The Panthers fell to 0-3-1 overall and 0-1-1 in the league.

HAGGERTY SCORES WINNER

SALAMANCA — Franklinville’s Lilly Haggerty scored in the 14th minute before an East Division game against Salamanca was called in the 52nd minute due to lightning.

Makenzie Oakes made five saves for the Warriors (1-4-0, 0-3-0).

The Panthers improved to 1-3-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the league.
