Fredonia tied Falconer/Cassadaga Valley, 1-1, to wrap up Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association West Division girls soccer action on Friday at Fredonia State.

Hillbillies captain Emily Timmerman rose to the occasion to keep her team out of the loss column in the regular season. Timmerman scored on a penalty kick with less than four minutes in the game, leveling the score at 1-1.

The Golden Cougars got on the board first from an unassisted goal by Tess Spangenburg. Grace Lundmark made nine saves to help tie against the first place Hillbillies.

Fredonia finished with the league title and a record of 10-0-2 and 14-0-2 overall while Falconer/Cassadaga Valley finished 5-3-4 in league and 6-5-4 overall.

WESTFIELD — Silver Creek/Forestville defeated Westfield/Brocton, 2-1, in a Central Division game.

The Black Knights wrapped up the regular season and league play with goals from Jade Bouvier and Angela Pacifici. Alivia Penman and Abby Rice recorded assists while Cam Karcz made seven saves in net for the win.

Silver Creek/Forestville ended the regular season with a 6-7-0 overall record and 3-6-0 league record while Westfield/Brocton finished 0-12-0 overall and 0-10-0 in league.
