North Collins stays undefeated
SOUTH DAYTON — Mackenzie Jaworski had seven kills and two aces as North Collins improved to 12-0 overall and in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association East Division play with a 25-19, 25-17, 25-10 sweep of Pine Valley in girls volleyball Wednesday.
Mckenna Rice had six kills and four aces; Michaela Rice had six kills and three aces; and Cate Ayers had 20 assists and four aces for the Eagles.
The Panthers fell to 6-8 overall and 4-7 in the league.
EAGLES WIN MARATHON
ELLICOTTVILLE — Natalee Leiper had 11 assists and 16 digs while Allison Rowland added seven kills, 16 digs and seven aces as Ellicottville outlasted Cattaraugus-Little Valley 25-23, 25-18, 17-25, 21-25, 25-18 in the East Division.
Cora Norton added six kills and five aces while Tristin Bomberry had 12 kills, 11 digs, four aces and two blocks for the Eagles (5-7, 5-5).
The Timberwolves fell to 2-8 overall and 2-7 in the league.
CARDINALS BREEZE
SALAMANCA — Randolph handed Salamanca a 25-12, 25-9, 25-7 East Division loss.
The Cardinals improved to 10-5 overall and 9-2 in the league.
Jillian Rea had two aces for the Warriors (3-11, 0-10).
