SINCLAIRVILLE -- Ray Cortes poured in 27 points to lead Silver Creek to a 71-36 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Central Division basketball victory Monday night.
Matt Woleben added 17 points and Shawn Kelly chipped in 11 for the Black Knights, who improved to 5-2 overall and 1-1 in the division.
Cortes also grabbed 12 rebounds and six steals, and Woleben contributed five boards and four steals.
Silver Creek led 11-7 after the first quarter, but went on an 18-4 second-period run to build a big lead at intermission.
Nick Russo paced the Cougars (2-7, 0-2) with 14 points.

BROCTON -- Cole Holland led four players in double figures with 26 points as Westfield rolled to a 78-21 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association West 2 victory over Brocton.
Darien Swanson added 11 points, and Carson Swanson and Ethan Weingart chipped in with 10 apiece for the Wolverines (5-1, 2-1), who led 25-2 after the first quarter.
Darien Swanson also had six rebounds and five assists, and Chris Rotunda had eight boards for Westfield.
Christian Garcia had 7 points to pace the Bulldogs (0-7, 0-2).

MAYVILLE -- Carter Brink scored 18 points to lead Panama to a 45-38 CCAA West 2 victory over Chautauqua Lake.
The Panthers, who led 19-18 at halftime, outscored the Thunderbirds 17-12 in the third quarter and held on for the win to raise their record to 5-1 overall and 1-1 in the division.
Carson D'Anthony and Brett Meadows each had 9 points to pace Chautauqua Lake (1-4, 0-2).
Tate Catanese contributed nine rebounds, and Gabe Roth collected six steals for the Panthers.
Lawson Ormsby had five boards and five blocks, and Meadows contributed eight rebounds for the Thunderbirds.

WILDCATS ROLL
FALCONER -- Gerald Carris scored 21 points to lead three players in double figures as Sherman knocked off Falconer, 68-28, in a CCAA West 2 game.
Elijah Kiolo and Brayden Hayes each had 12 points for the Wildcats, who led 34-14 at halftime and 55-21 after three quarters.
Jake Swanson had 7 points and eight rebounds, and Jase Smith had 6 points and eight boards for the Golden Falcons (1-4, 0-1).
