Northwest Wave takes silver at SPIRE

GENEVA, Ohio — The Northwest Wave indoor soccer team traveled to the Spire Institute on Sunday to compete in Erie Premier Sports’ Premier-Level Martin Luther King Jr. Day Invitational. The girls were seeded first for the final after tying the Cleveland Cobras 3-3 and defeating Tri-County 3-0 in round-robin play. A hard-fought final saw the Wave girls bested by the Cobras by a score of 1-0, landing them silver medals.
