Fredonia defeated Westfield 3-2 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association boys tennis on Wednesday.

The Hillbillies (1-0, 1-0) earned wins from Neil Cosico in first singles over Andrew Nellis 6-0, 6-0 and Jackson Spangler in second singles over Mihir Patel 6-4, 6-0 to go up 2-1. Fredonia won the match with a victory in first doubles as Ryan Davis and Grayson Osborne-Coy defeated Cody Hoffman and Tahner Stow 6-0, 6-1.

Westfield’s (1-1, 1-1) Micah Heim won third singles over Tim Brandon 6-4, 6-4 and the Wolverines won second doubles with Rachel Eggleston and Collin Hoffman defeating Isaac Williams and Ezra Daly-Griffin 6-4, 6-2.
