Kendal Herman hit a double and a single as the South Dayton Fillies edged Falconer’s Southern Chatauqua FCU 9-8.

Ashlynn Silleman came on in relief and allowed no runs with a walk and three strikeouts in the circle for the winners.

Offensive player of the game for Falconer was Zoey Yanik and defensive player of the game was Hannah Evans.

VALLEY LITTLE LEAGUE

Cherry Creek beat South Dayton 5-4 behind eight strikeouts by Tyler Pfleuger.

Landon Reger and Jaxson Emke both had base hits while Dominic Austin hit a double. Brandi Washington also made two great defensive plays in the victory.

Liam Bradigan struck out nine for South Dayton.
