PANAMA — Panama upended Westfield 25-16, 25-16, 25-19 in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 West volleyball match on Thursday.

Mandy Brink led the way for the Panthers (6-1, 4-1) with one kill, 13 assists, one bock, seven digs and four aces; Jo Bailey added seven kills, seven blocks and two aces; and Lilly Odell chipped in four kills and two digs.

For Westfield (3-4, 2-4), Keara Kincaid finished with five kills and 12 digs; Tanleigh Bestine collected nine assists, one block and eight digs; and Sydney Hotchkiss had nine digs.

CLYMER/SHERMAN PREVAILS

CLYMER — Janelle Burchanowski collected five kills, 12 assists, four digs and six aces to lead Clymer/Sherman to a 25-11, 25-21, 25-14 victory over Forestville in a Division 2 West volleyball match Thursday.

Cora Goldberg added eight kills, two aces and a block; and Hayden Fisher contributed five kills and nine aces; and Makenna Woods added three aces, three kills and one block for the Pirates (6-2, 4-2).

The Hornets (0-5, 0-5) received two kills, two assists and six blocks from Gracie Johnson, two kills and two blocks from Megan Gruber and two aces, two kills, six assists and two blocks from Katie LoManto.

HILLBILLIES FALL

Fredonia fell to Allegany-Limestone 25-18, 25-15, 25-19 in a Division 1 West match.

Bella Baldwin had nine kills; Addison Thornton collected six kills and one block; Serena Fedend added six kills and five digs; and Tulah Hasselberg contributed four aces and 26 assists for the Gators (6-3, 3-3).

Lydia LaBarr had four aces and four digs; and Maddie Saunder had five kills, two aces and three digs for the Hillbillies (1-6, 0-6).
