Fredonia boys, girls post wins over Jamestown at JBC

JAMESTOWN — The Fredonia bowling teams had quite the day at Jamestown Bowling Company on Wednesday, with both the boys and girls sweeping Jamestown 4-0 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 action.

The Fredonia boys rolled out a 951-952-897-2,800 scoreline to Jamestown’s 937-808-854-2,599.

The Hillbillies (19-5, 19-5) were paced by Nate Manzella with a 243-208-598, Kyle Berkshire hit 204-225-596, Brady Helmer rolled 174-203-170-547, Owen Rush had 203-186-547 and Zack Kawski tossed 172-171-512.

Jamestown’s (18-10, 18-10) effort was led by Hadyn Walker rolling 213-172-194-579, Marco LoBello hit 194-194-555 and Jack Christensen had 212-173-529.

The Fredonia girls rolled 723-820-741-2,284 to get past Jamestown’s 649-724-654-2,027.

The Hillbillies (19-1, 19-1) were led by Allie Cook smashing 178-192-181-551, Jaelyn Davis hit 186-179-504, Londyn Wilmot rolled 163-166-484 and Leah Hinds Morrison had a 167.

The Red Raiders (15.5-8.5, 15.5-8.5) were led by Abbie Derby hammering 193-171-164-528 and Addison Cappalino rolled 159-151-450.

GOWANDA — The Gowanda boys swept Hinsdale 4-0 in CCAA Division 3 action at K&L Lanes.

Gowanda sported a scoreline of 801-841-919-2,561 to Hinsdale’s 533-570-531-1,634.

Gowanda (25.5-6.5, 25.5-6.5) was led by Drew Shull hitting 188-203-522 and Nicholas Smuda rolled 189-172-517.

Hinsdale (3-21, 3-21) was powered by Jamie Jimmerson with a 167 game.

The Hinsdale girls bested Gowanda 4-0, with a scoreline of 847-976-810-2,633 to 723-679-808-2,210.

Hinsdale (17-3, 17-3) was led by Madison Rondeau hammering 182-232-174-588, Analia Degroff hit 189, Aeryn Degroff rolled 169 and Morgan Holcomb had a 162.

JAMESTOWN — The Randolph boys bowling team swept Chautauqua Lake 4-0 in CCAA Division 2 action at Jamestown Bowling Company.

Randolph’s scoreline of 611-577-599-1,787 bested Chautauqua Lake’s 444-467-498-1,409.

The Cardinals (14.5-20.5, 14.5-20.5)were led by Roman Weaver rolling 193-511.

Chautauqua Lake’s (1-39, 1-39) high series was rolled by Ragen Crandall.

The Randolph girls downed Chautauqua Lake 3-1, with a scoreline of 367-456-464-1,287 to 393-419-404-1,216.

The Cardinals (19-13, 19-13) were led by Alyssa Milks hitting 194 in a 470 series.

Chautauqua Lake’s (4-28, 4-28) top bowler was Alanna Delcamp.

The Golden Falcons (26-2, 26-2) were paced by Brayden Scott hammering 235-226-174-635, Nic Houston smashed 203-180-180-563, Damen Vincent hit 197-185-555 and James Patterson had a 201 game.

The Black Knights (1-23, 1-23) were paced by Bryson Parsell rolling 173-187 and Dylan D’Amico had a 173.
