Fearless Freddie’s Football Forecast

FITTING FINALE. The top seeds proved they belonged in the 2023 Super Bowl and NFL fans are in for a rare treat. When the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles meet Sunday night in Arizona, expect a rousing climax to a most entertaining football season.

Coach Nick Sirianni, pride of nearby Southwestern Central School, leads the Eagles into the big game. His club is slightly favored by the so-called experts, but they are dead wrong. The Kansas Chiefs will emerge triumphant in an entertaining battle.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes will direct his club to several first-half scores, forcing the Eagles to play catch-up.

Look for Philadelphia to close the gap in the fourth quarter, but Mahomes will ruthlessly run out the clock on his talented but gimpy ankle. He will win the MVP trophy and it won’t even be close. Great players play their best in big games and he’s going to prove that to the world once again. So sit back and enjoy, I know I will.

FREDDIE sees it this way:

Chiefs 34, Eagles 24

HOME teams are capitalized. Teams picked to win the game are listed first, followed by the expected margin of victory. The official Las Vegas odds are in parentheses.
