Forestville wins boys rolloffs
FREDONIA — Forestville rolled games of 1,230, 1,106 and 1,165 to win the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association boys rolloffs Tuesday at Lucky Lanes with a 3,501 series.
Salamanca’s Dylan Ingersoll finished with the high individual scratch series (683) and Forestville’s Brayden Smith had the high individual scratch game with a 279.
Forestville’s Tucker Merritt rolled the high individual handicap series with a 785 and Silver Creek’s Dwayne White had the high individual handicap game with a 301.
Frewsburg finished second as a team with a 1,064-1,245-1,054-3,363 and Fredonia was third with a 1,098-1,040-1,191-3,329.
Randolph was fourth (1,037-1,149-1,122-3,308), Genesee Valley was fifth (1,045-1,142-1,091-3,278) and Jamestown was sixth (1,086-1,067-1,112-3,265). In seventh was Cassadaga Valley (1,057-1,091-1,096-3,244), while Dunkirk was eighth (1,050-1,098-1,084-3,232), Salamanca was ninth (1,024-1,076-1,095-3,195) and Chautauqua Lake was 10th (1,027-1,050-1,104-3,181).
Silver Creek (1,064-1,108-994-3,166), Gowanda (986-1,065-1,098-3,149), Brocton/Westfield (1,069-995-1,049-3,113), Southwestern (978-1,048-1,082-3,108), West Valley (977-1,102-1,023-3,102), Falconer (1,034-1,060-946-3,040) and Clymer/Sherman (963-1,026-1,038-3,027) all broke 3,000.
Maple Grove (997-1,014-984-2,995), Allegany-Limestone (948-980-1,017-2,945), Ellicottville (948-921-955-2,824), Cattaraugus-Little Valley (815-829-836-2,480) and Franklinville (727-769-804-2,300) rounded out the bottom five.
