Seven members of Hammerhead Swim Club have qualified for Niagara Championships

As the Hammerhead Swim Club comes to an end, seven swimmers have qualified for the Niagara Swim Championships referred to as “GOLDS.”

The 15-and-up age group of swimmers competed at Erie Community College two weekend ago.

The 14-and-under swimmers competed at the Webster Aquatic Center this past weekend.

Each swimmer had to post qualifying times and compete in a series of prelim races with opportunities to then qualify for finals each day.

In the 15-and-up age group, Addie Luce qualified in the 50-yard freestyle, while Matt Dunn qualified in the 200-yard backstroke, 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard individual medley and 100-yard backstroke.

In the 14-and-under age group, Trenton Krenzer qualified in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard breaststroke, 100-yard individual medley and 200-yard individual medley; Olivia Burlingame qualified in the 50-yard butterfly; Sadie Correale qualified in the 50-yard backstroke and 100-yard backstroke; Kara Harrington qualified in the 50-yard freestyle; and Kendyl Dietzen qualified in the 50-yard freestyle.
