ST. BONAVENTURE -- Gowanda exploded offensively to down Olean 24-5 in five innings of Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 action at Handler Park at McGraw-Jennings Field at St. Bonaventure University on Monday.
Tyler Smith led the way for the Panthers (2-1, 2-1), going 4 for 5 with three RBIs, John Ondus was 2 for 3 and had RBIs, Logan Ruff was 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Alex Pachucinski was 2 for 5 with 2 RBIs, and both Blake Herman and Brayden Smith had two hits.
Gowanda's Cole Herman went 4 1/3 innings on the mound with nine strikeouts. He scattered five hits.
Aaron Vincent took the loss for Olean (2-3, 2-1).
WARRIORS TOP EAGLES
NORTH COLLINS -- Salamanca remained hot in Division 3 with a 13-4 victory over North Collins.
Cole Urbanski battled through rough weather on the mound to strike out nine North Collins (3-1, 1-1) batters over six innings to claim the win for Salamanca (4-3, 3-0).
Jaxson Ross paced the Warriors' offense, going 2 for 2 with three walks, two RBIs and three stolen bases; Jorden Ambuske collected two hits and two RBIs and Cory Holleran scored three times.

MARAUDERS FALL
St. Francis beat Dunkirk baseball 11-3 in nonleague action on Saturday.
Tyler Karin doubled, Waldemar Morales had an RBI single, and Dylan Bankoski and Anthony Piede added singles for the Marauders.
Thomas Shaffer, Anthony Cosme and Bankoski combined to strike out five and walk eight on the mound for Dunkirk.
