Lewis took the girls Most Valuable Athlete honor with a pair first-place finishes. The eighth-grader won the 1,500 meters (4:45.46) and 3,000 meters (10:37.14), while also anchoring the Trojans’ winning 3,200-meter relay team (10:13.30).

Yerico, a Hillbillies senior, won the 100 meters (11.5), took second in the 400 meters and placed third in the 200 meters en route to being named the boys Most Valuable Athlete.

Tyyetta Herman was a quadruple winner for Franklinville/Ellicottville, taking the girls 100 meters (12.89), 200 meters (26.68), 400 meters (58.30) and long jump (15-5.75).

Wellsville’s Kaylee Oswald won the girls shot put (35-4) and discus (102-6).

Southwestern’s Declan Kennedy won the boys 110-meter high hurdles (16.49) and took second in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles.

Kennedy’s Trojans teammate, Michael Butterfield, won the boys 200 meters (22.93) and was third in the 100 meters.

Franklinville/Ellicottville’s Anna Slavinski won the girls 400-meter hurdles (1:09.28) and was second in the pole vault.

Dunkirk’s Michael Hanlon took first place in the boys 400-meter hurdles and ran the second leg for the Marauders’ winning 1,600-meter relay team (3:34.88).

Chautauqua Lake/Westfield/Brocton’s David Speagle won the boys long jump (19-9) while also anchoring the Thunderbirds’ winning 400-meter relay team (44.81).

Southwestern’s Nate Lewis claimed the boys 3,200 meters and anchored the Trojans’ winning 3,200-meter relay team (8:35.24).
