The tournament is being presented by Westfield Ag & Turf, a major supplier of farm essentials and equipment for the surrounding area. Another new partner this year is Fredonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, the Hole-In-One prize package sponsor.

The committee thanks the following food and entertainment sponsors: 21 Brix Winery, Community Bank, Five & 20 Spirits & Brewing, Merritt Winery and Willow Creek Winery.

Located at 7428 East Main Road (Route 20) in Westfield, Pinehurst Golf Club has hosted the Grape Belt Open since its inception. Sign-in begins at 8:15 a.m. on July 29, with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The tournament is an 18-hole, four-person scramble. Teams can choose the “Corporate Sponsor” level for $350 that includes four players, refreshments at the turn and dinner for four, game packs for the team and sign recognition on the course. The “Golf Only” option includes refreshments at the turn, dinner and game packs for each golfer ($75/player; $300 for the team.)

Local businesses and friends can support the Concord Grape Belt Heritage Association/Grape Discovery Center by being a “Tee Sponsor.” Tee sponsors are available at the $75 level and can advertise a business. A tee sponsor is also a way to honor an individual (a recent graduate perhaps) or be in honor or memory of a friend or relative. Donations of gift cards and other items are also placed in the table raffle.

The tournament is the Grape Discovery Center’s major fundraiser. All proceeds fund the operation of the center, allowing the center to continue to operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Its mission is to encourage tourism and educate visitors about the grape-growing history of the Lake Erie Region. The center is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center is on Facebook or at www.grapediscoverycenter.com. Email manager@grapediscoverycenter.com. Contact the center at 716-326-2003. For after-hours calls, leave a message.
