Fredonia Hillbillies hosting several athletic camps

The Fredonia girls basketball camp will be held July 5-8.

The camp is designed to give athletes in the early grades an introduction to the game and to teach them the basic skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, defense and team play.

Focus in the upper grades will include skill development in the areas of shooting, scoring, passing, dribbling, footwork, rebounding, and team defense and offense. Athletes will learn skills and drills that they can take home and practice on their own so that they can be better prepared for participating at the modified, junior varsity and varsity levels.
