The ninth annual Marauder Trotter concluded last Saturday at Wright Park in Dunkirk with top runners and walkers announced.

The top male finisher was Joshua Walters, age 21 of Randolph, with a time of 16:25.

Noel Barlette, age 17 of Orchard Park, finished at 19:04 to place first in the women’s division.

The top three finishers in each age group were given snowman medals as part of the Christmas in July event.

The Marauder Trotter race committee members are DJ Wilson, Scott Mekus, Jennifer Ellman, Terri Vasquez, Molly Pagan and Matt Woelfle.

Next year’s 10th annual Marauder Trotter will take place on Saturday, July 6.
