Little League teams wrap up pool play in Area B 8-10 all-stars

DISTRICT 38 LITTLE LEAGUE
AREA B 8-10 ALL-STARS
FREWSBURG — Colton Rhinehart singled and scored the tying run before Ethan Dickerson walked and scored the winning run as Falconer rallied for a 6-5 victory over Randolph on Thursday.
Randolph led 3-0 after the top of the fourth inning before Falconer took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the frame. Randolph regained a 5-4 lead in the top of the sixth inning, but Falconer walked it off in the bottom half of the inning on a passed ball.
Colton Walters and Jaron Fowler both singled and scored during the second inning for Randolph. Wyatt Shields then singled and scored while Walters doubled during the third. In the sixth, Austin Bushey scored a run and Caine Lange doubled and scored a run.

AJ Stewart was hit by a pitch and scored, Colton Smith tripled and scored, Dickerson doubled and scored, and Koleson Lincoln also scored during Falconer’s four-run fourth inning.
Brody Taylor and Sullivan Saunders added singles for Falconer.
Remington Smith and Lange added singles for Randolph.
Falconer clinched a spot in Sunday’s semifinals with the win and Randolph was eliminated. Valley and Southwestern will play the final game of pool play tonight.
DISTRICT 38 LITTLE LEAGUE
AREA B 8-10 ALL-STARS
FALCONER — Jackson Brady went 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored to lead Frewsburg to a 14-6 win over Gowanda in the final game of the tournament for both teams.
Jackson Butzer singled and Brady hit an RBI single during a four-run first inning during which Frewsburg took advantage of a pair of walks by Gowanda pitching.
Noah Greenman hit an RBI single and Curtis Spielman hit a two-run single during a six-run second inning that gave Frewsburg a 10-1 lead.
Gowanda battled back with a three-run third inning that was keyed by RBI singles by Curtis Williams and Milo Williams.
Gowanda added two more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning on an RBI single by Mason Gernatt and an RBI bunt by Milo Williams.
Frewsburg put the game away with a four-run top of the sixth inning. Brady doubled before three of the runs scored on wild pitches.
Lincoln Moller and Butzer combined to strike out nine on the mound for Frewsburg while Bryson Oleszewski, Curtis Williams, Jacobi Davis and Luke Jones combined to strike out 13 for Gowanda.
Curtis Williams had three hits while Davis, Gernatt and Milo Williams each had two for Gowanda.
Falconer and Southwestern, who have already clinched spots in Sunday’s semifinals, will play the final game of pool play tonight.

MAYVILLE — Greyson Whitfield led Fredonia with three hits as it defeated Mayville 20-7 on Thursday in Mayville.
Adding two hits for Fredonia were Alex Williams, Tucker Shoup, Tim Carle, Christian Sells and Dominic Carapella. Pitching was Brennan Hodkin, Shoup, Whitfield and Bruno Muscarella.
Mayville received hits from Chester Machemer, Cameron Ward, Tripp Bensink, Liam Mulkins and Kamelo Benedetto.
