Cassadaga Kids Triathlon announces winners

On Saturday, Aug. 12, the 5th Annual Cassadaga Kids Triathlon was completed by 65 young triathletes from all over Western and Central New York, with families traveling from Honeoye Falls and Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Pennsylvania, and Ridgewood, N.J.
Kids from ages 4-14 swam 100 yards, biked three miles and ran one mile.
Ruger Bobseine of Dunkirk was awarded the Parker Morrison Sportsmanship Award.
Several records were broken: Colden Campbell, age 10, crushed his own course record by almost four minutes with a time of 20:26. Lillian Ellis of Bemus Point beat her own time by two minutes with a new female course record of 23:35. Max Roets, 12, of Westfield beat his own personal best and new Paratriathlete course record with a finish time of 55:24.
