OLEAN — Nella Darrell-Sterbak (6-2, 6-0), Gilen Gottinger (6-3, 6-1) and Ava Hartung 6-1, 6-0) won their singles matches to lead Fredonia to a 5-0 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association girls tennis sweep of Salamanca on Thursday.

Charis LaBarr and Abigail Joy won at first doubles (6-2, 6-2) while Amelia Way and Elizabeth Joy won at second doubles (6-1, 6-2) for the Hillbillies.

FALCONER EDGES TROJANS

FALCONER — Riley Farrugello and Angelina Fiasco won singles matches to jump-start Falconer past Southwestern 4-1 in the completion of an earlier match Thursday.

Rachael Swanson and Jerzie Smith won at first doubles while Emily Green and Mia Vandevelde won at second doubles for the Golden Falcons.

Erika Pickard won at first singles for the Trojans.
