Gottinger, LaBarr take singles matches for Fredonia

Fredonia posted a 3-2 win over Southwestern in a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 tennis match Wednesday at Southwestern Central School.

Claiming victories for the Hillbillies were Gilen Gottinger at second singles; Charis LaBarr at second singles; and the second doubles team of Elizabeth Joy and Rosie Manzella.

Winners for the Trojans were Erika Pickard at first singles and the first doubles team of Dani Mincarelli and Audrey Delong.

SALAMANCA — Falconer continued its Division 2 dominance with a 5-0 sweep of Salamanca.

Myla Brainard, Angelina Fiasco and Riley Farrugello won singles matches for the Golden Falcons (10-1, 6-0). Rachael Swanson and Jerzie Smith won at first doubles while Emily Green and Mia Vandevelde won at second doubles.
