The Chautauqua Lake volleyball team received quite a homecoming upon its arrival at school Tuesday morning. The New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class D championships arrived at the school via bus that was escorted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department and area fire departments. Upon arrival at CLCS, the girls were welcomed by the elementary school students who lined the hallways. Simultaneously, the secondary students lined the rotunda and the atrium. Upon arrival at the gymnasium, the players posed for photos and watched a highlight video of their run to a state title, which concluded Sunday with a victory over Lake George at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls.
