Silver Creek splits, Dunkirk sweeps in CCAA bowling

SILVER CREEK — Brayden Scott’s 188-158-223-569 led Falconer to a 4-0 sweep of Silver Creek in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 boys bowling Thursday at Lakeview Lanes.

Erik Stenstrom added a 200-162-191-553 and Javier Gonzales had a 159-166-174-499 for the Golden Falcons (17-3), who finished with a linescore of 801-747-859-2,407.

Ethan Vecchio’s 169-441 led the Black Knights (0-20) to a 629-587-579-1,795. Kevin Murawski chipped in a 152-154-429.

In the girls match, Silver Creek’s Laneya Olsen rolled a 170-433 as the Black Knights won 3-1.

Katarina Restivo chipped in a 165-419 as Silver Creek (10-6) finished with a linescore of 586-602-637-1,825.

Kaitlyn Swan’s 159-414 led the Golden Falcons (7-9) to a 573-640-609-1,822.

KOZLOWSKI SHINES AGAIN

DUNKIRK — Robert Kozlowski dropped a 223-203-237-663 for Dunkirk as the Marauders swept Cassadaga Valley 4-0 in Division 1 boys action at Lucky Lanes.

Devin Farrington added a 214-175-542 for the Marauders (21-3), who finished with a linescore of 897-856-931-2,684.

Calvin Hilliker spun a 213-205-557 and Matthew Helwig had a 161-198-511 for the Cougars (11-9), who finished with a 636-804-785-2,225.

Kassidy Donisi’s 178-464 and Hayden Cerrie’s 156-456 led the Dunkirk girls to a 4-0 sweep.

The Marauders (8-12) finished with a linescore of 612-643-706-1,961.

Emma Nickerson’s 160-185-491 led the Cougars (0-16) to a 583-598-540-1,721.

WEDNESDAY

JHS, DUNKIRK SPLIT

DUNKIRK — Robert Kozlowski’s 192-188-200-590 and Devin Farrington’s 199-546 paced the Dunkirk boys to a 4-0 victory over Jamestown at Lucky Lanes.

The Red Raiders were led by Jack Christensen’s 186-212-541.

The linescore for the Marauders was 810-907-864-2,581 compared to Jamestown’s 743-709-735-2,187.

In the girls match, Abbie Derby’s 199-204-562 and Addison Cappalino’s 222-164-525 paced Jamestown to a 4-0 win.

Hayden Cerrie rolled a 178-173-488 for Dunkirk. The Red Raiders’ linescore was 766-800-820-2,386 compared to the Marauders’ 618-736-716-2,070.
