Fearless Freddie’s Football Forecast
NO MORE. The window of opportunity has closed a little bit more on Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
In another gut punch of disappointment, the Bills failed to take advantage of a raucous home crowd Sunday night. With an international audience well above 50 million viewers looking on, history was tragically repeated.
The Bills were totally unable to stop the Kansas City Chiefs and superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The injury-plagued Buffalo defense really had no answer to Mahomes and veteran tight end Travis Kelce.
Now Allen is one year closer to retirement and the end of Buffalo’s legitimate hope for Super Bowl glory.
Continuing in the hunt for the Vince Lombardi Trophy with the Chiefs are divisional round home field winners San Francisco, Baltimore and Detroit.
Expect the top seeds to defend their home turf come Sunday, creating a 49ers-Ravens Super Bowl.
