Fearless Freddie’s Football Forecast

SWEET REPEAT. The oddsmakers have determined that the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers are a full two points better than the AFC Champion Kansas City Chiefs as far as Super Bowl LVIII is considered. I beg to differ.

I’m basing my expert analysis and subsequent prediction of a 4-point Kansas City victory Sunday in Las Vegas on two key points.

First, the 49ers were remarkably unsuccessful when meeting the Baltimore Ravens in a Christmas showdown game in San Francisco. Frankly, that game wasn’t even close, eventually ending with a score of 33-19. Those conquering Ravens were then eliminated two Sundays ago by the underdog Chiefs in the AFC title game 17-10 in inhospitable Baltimore. Advantage Chiefs.

Second, the Chiefs have the best quarterback in the game today. Patrick Mahomes may one day be declared the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). He’s pretty close to that now, leading his team to the NFL’s biggest game four times in the past five years, winning twice. Their 2020 victims were the 49ers, 31-20.

Meanwhile, San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy has never played in a game as big as this and his inexperience will be painfully exposed. Big advantage Chiefs.

FREDDIE sees it this way:
