Cortes, White pace Eagles boys lax team in victory
ANGOLA — The Lake Shore/Silver Creek boys lacrosse team stayed undefeated with a 13-7 C League victory over Williamsville South on Friday.
Senior Ray Cortes paced the Eagles offense with five goals and four assists, while Simon White added two goals and two assists along with 12 ground balls. Luke Hopkins won 10 of 16 faceoffs for Lake Shore/Silver Creek.
The Eagles (3-0, 3-0) are back in action on Wednesday at Amherst.
