Kozlowski is the medalist at Shorewood CC

Dunkirk’s Robert Kozlowski shot a 2-under 34 in extremely adverse conditions in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association boys golf at Shorewood Country Club on Tuesday.

Fredonia beat the Marauders 35-20 and Cassadaga Valley 38.5-16.5, while Dunkirk topped the Cougars 28.5-26.5.

Ryan Kelly, Tucker Merritt and Grant Abbey led the Hillbillies with 42s, while Ace Pierce led Cassadaga Valley with a 46.

In the girls match, Cassadaga Valley’s Jocelyn Wintersteen shot a 41 as the Cougars topped Fredonia 32.5-22.5. Juli Spacciapolli’s 51 paced the Hillbillies.

Channing Brainard led the Golden Falcons (2-12, 0-8) with a 44 en route to a 29-26 victory over the Huskies (5-7, 4-5), who were led by Finn Caya’s 47.

JAMESTOWN — Jamestown’s Evan Maloney and Tyler Salvaggio tied for medalist honors with 41s as Jamestown (9-0, 8-0) beat Chautauqua Lake/Westfield 37-18, Maple Grove 37-18 and Clymer/Sherman/Panama 40-15 on Monday at Moon Brook Country Club.

Evan Steffen shot a 42 for Maple Grove (6-2, 2-2) as the Red Dragons beat Chautauqua Lake/Westfield 31-24 and Clymer/Sherman/Panama 40-15.

Carson Swanson shot a 45 for Chautauqua Lake/Westfield (3-6, 1-4) as the Eagles beat Clymer/Sherman/Panama (4-5, 3-2) 30-25.

Ryan Kelly led the Hillbillies (10-1, 4-1) to a 35-20 win over Dunkirk and a 32-18 victory over Olean.

The Huskies’ Cam Bartman shot a 46 and Olean (5-5, 4-4) beat the Marauders (1-10, 1-4) 30-25.

In the girls match, Julie Spacciapolli shot a 46 to lead Fredonia past Olean 32-23.
